Sometimes I get so lost in the details.. I realized only after I've spent HOURS doing the same thing O.o
It's been a while since I've done anything with a child. Time to change that. When I was a little girl, one of the ONLY good memories I have of my dad was going to the woods with him, where the bluebells grew like crazy. He called it "Karen's Wood" and even carved it into a tree. This was on my mind when I started this image. Lots of paint, and the following stock: [link] - Birds [link] - Pink flowers [link] - Doggies [link] - Background [link] [link] [link] - Vines [link] - Texture [link] - Bench [link] - Model (totally re-painted, including the dress) Thanks in advance for comments / Favs |

Meet Harry...
The ethereal cloak over the bench is an inspired symbol of tenderness and I love the way the puppy's mother is nestled into the bluebells at the bottom of her dress.
You know what? I don't care about small details not being aesthetically correct, because conceptualization allows for things like that.
