it made me think of those books with the illuminations and what not they had back during the renaisance, its very beautiful :)
i had a feeling it was a norse goddess, though i don't know norse mythology as much as i know the names to a good deal of the greek ones.

Very pretty. Yes, I think it does have a Renaissance feel to it. Really great detail in this. Norse mythology is very interesting.
