And into the ocean..
I wanted to do something whimsical and surreal that represented life to some degree. A play on the saying "Jump out of the flames and into the frying pan." I envisioned a little fish, taking that leap from a pond to the ocean. It's a big step. I used the book as a manner that we don't always believe it's real. Books contains stories, fantasies and so much more which keep us stimulated. I wanted to catch that in the piece. It's exactly how I envisioned it, but to begin to explain it.. I don't know? I suppose its up to you as a viewer to decide what you take from it. With thanks to : [link] (book) [link] (pond) [link] (fish) [link] [link] Other items used of my own stock, references and such. Created in PS CS. Thanks! |

For some reason I had this desire to create an image with a fish wearing goggles. That's how the idea started.. O.o Not sure why, but I envisioned this and went with the flow, ending up with what's shown above.
I've learned to stop questioning my imagination and rather just go with the flow.
Glad you like it!
(I think I screwed up with my comment posting last night.. sorry if you get this twice?)

Great approach to creating art, it happens to me at times as well and some of the most liked pieces in my gallery came into being in the exact same way ... just doing what feels right
